Now THIS is something you wouldn't expect to grow (much less bloom) in the tropics...
We have the folks from IKEA to thank for having the horticultural guts to bring trays of these onto our shores.
Hmmm, I feel like dashing off to buy a few more...it brings back memories of the UK especially the time when I worked in the florist called Vase. These hyacinths were best-sellers during the winter season..lovely bursts of colour for the cold (dreary) days.
Now let's wait for the tulip bulbs next...
