Tutti pane Italiano


My first foray into bread-making! I attended an Italian bread-making class at The Cooking House today where we learnt how to make Focaccia, Ciabatta and Panini bread. And there's more to flour and yeast than I thought.

I didn't get to snap any pics of the preparation process of the kneading...a bit diff when most of our fingers were full of flour-ry dough. But here are the end results - I can assure you that we churned out some seriously fabulous flavoursome and crusty breads...



Li peni cu' lu pani nun su' peni, li veru peni sunnu senza pani

While you still have bread, troubles are not troubles,
true troubles are without bread
